Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Male | neutered | 3 years and 9 months old
It is very hot outside 98 and my three year old boston wants to be with me outside for hours. He has water if needed and he moves around to shade, sun. I am not sure if I should leave him outside for just a certain amount of time before putting him in or not worry about it

He is a brachycephalic breed which means that he has a short snout and upper airway that is not adapt to being in hot climates for long periods of time. Therefore he is more at risk to having heat stroke than other breeds. I would recommend not leaving him outside for more than 30 mins- 1 hr at a time, even with shade, and definitely not to leave him out without direct supervision. You should always be able to monitor his activity level for any signs of being overheated. I hope your pet Judd stays safe out there in this scorching heat. It's always best to be safe than sorry. Best wishes and take care.
