Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 7 months old

I have seen a lot of German shepherds and their walking pattern are almost same like they pull while in starting walk but Doberman do not pull so why so ? Is it safe to adopt Doberman along with gsd or with one gsd I should adopt Labrador or another gsd only

Some dogs pull while walking but with proper training the dog can learn how to walk without pulling. Also, using a head collar, like a Gentle Leader, makes walking so much easier as the dog can not pull on the leash. It would be safe to adopt any of those breeds as long as the particular dogs get along. You would need to introduce them to see how their personalities mesh.
