My dog Yoda has developed a yeast infection my boyfriend and I have been putting monostate in his ear & rinsing it with a dog ear rinse and it cleared up the ear but now his other ear has it worse we thought use the same remedy as the last one but after using it the next day we noticed him rubbing his ear on the carpet, and seen the inside of his ear was swollen. He also tilts his head when he walks... We made an appointment for Monday is there anything we can do till we see then. Please help!

Monostat is not a good idea, it's not used in dogs as it doesn't solve ear infections caused by yeast, Yoda will need to get to the vet earlier than Monday, at this point it is urgent and requires to be treated today. by looking at the picture i am pretty sure he has an hear hematoma which means this condition is very painful and he will need either a surgery to remove the blood clots from the ear or a long treatment with steroids in order for this swelling to go down.
