My 9-month-old cat's first heat was only 2 days. Is this normal?

My cat is 9 months old and has had one heat which lasted only 2 days and that was over a month ago is this normal?

Willow is adorable! A heat cycle in a cat can last from a few days to a week, so this is quite normal. Female cats are als induced ovulators, meaning that the frequency of their heat cycles will vary given the time of year (amount of sunlight) and if an intact male cat is nearby.
