Why is my dog vomiting yellow and white foam and won't eat?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 17 lbs

Hello, I have a Pomeranian poodle mix and he has been vomiting yellow foam latetly and today he also vomited like white liquid foam too. He has loss of appetite and seems pretty active. I am really worried for my dog and i appreciate your help.

Sorry to hear that Snowflake isn't feeling well. There are a number of possible causes of vomiting and decreased appetite, including upset stomach (from eating something he shouldn't have or isn't accustomed to), intestinal disease, pancreatitis, kidney disease, and others. It is hard to narrow it down without having a detailed discussion about the problem and doing a physical exam of Snowflake. You can try fasting him for 12-24 hours and then feeding a bland diet of boiled lowfat chicken breast and white rice. If he continues to vomit however I would recommend seeing your veterinarian, as some of the potential causes of vomiting can be serious.

    I would recommend feeding Snowflake a bland diet of boiled chicken, hamburger, or turkey and rice for a few days. If he continues to vomit, I recommend taking him to see his veterinarian because he may have a medical issue such as gastritis, pancreatitis, foreign body, or kidney disease.
