My dog is vomiting white foam and pressing his head. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 4 days old | 1.6 lbs

Bogummy is a little better now. He eats a lot lately. But new thing concerns us is he always throw up white foam. And after throwing up, he would bark and run heavily and pressed his head against the floor. In a day, he would throw up that white foam ten times. What do these mean,?We brought it to a vet last time and he told us that he just needed an antibiotic because he ate foreign objects or dirt or food that he shouldn't be eating. What would I do Doc?

If Bogummy is vomiting that many times a day I would be concerned that he may have gastritis, pancreatitis, or some sort of liver issue (because of the head pressing ). I would recommend taking him back to his veterinarian and pursuing other treatments such as antacids or bloodwork.
