Why are my dog's eyes swollen and itchy after I ate oranges?

Hi, My dog eyes just started swelling very badly. She is itchy. I had cleaned her eyes just after i ate oranges, will it be the cause for her eye swelling? Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Schnauzer | Female | 8 years and 6 months old | 17 lbs

This could be due to allergies or she could have gotten into something or even an infection can cause this. You can try 25mg Benadryl by mouth but I would take her in to your vet this morning for an exam as she will likely need strongly medicine than Benadryl and maybe even some antibiotics.
