My cat has paw fungus. Can I remove her cone after spray dries?

Hello I'm using hexachlor-k spray on my cats paw to treat a fungal infection. Is it possible to wash it off once it dries so she doesn't have to wear an e-collar all day?

If it is dry and she licks it, it won't hurt her. But the biggest concern is that if she licks it then she will slow down the healing or make more moisture on the paw therefore making the fungal infection worse. I would still keep the e-collar on her until it heals. I'm sorry! I know they look pitiful but the tough love will help her heal quicker so she can go back to her normal activity quicker.
