My pregnant dog has contractions and yellow fluid. Is she in labor?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 8 months old | 15 lbs

My dog has contractions we suspect she is pregnant because we tried to breed her and now she is lactating and having contractions, i just recently discovered this yellow liquid that was leaking from her vagina what does this mean?

IF she is having contractions then she is probably coming into labor very soon, the yellow fluids from the vaginal area are not uncommon at this stage, you should probably expect puppies in the next 24 hours.

    An immediate check up is required. She is may be either ready to deliver the puppies or have a uterine infection (or both of them). The fact that she is producing milk means that she is probably in the last 48-72 hours of pregnancy or she may have a false pregnancy.
