Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | spayed | 11 years and 1 month old | 50 lbs
Our beagle is leaking what looks like a clear fluid from her backside (not sure if analy or vaganially) 1-3 times daily. She uses the restroom about same frequency. Her anal glands were removed when she was about 1 year old. She has been drinking more and has had a much pickier and less frequent appetite. We usually see the fluid on our bed where she lays with us. Any ideas what would be causing this? Nothing really has changed as far as environment and/or diet we've provided for her.

She likely is having some urinary incontinence. I would try to collect some of the fluid and taking it to your vet for analysis to be certain. You have to collect a good amount of it however, so get a syringe from your vet if needed and try to collect at least 1-2 mls of fluid. If she is having some incontinence then you can discuss with your vet about getting her on medication to help her retain her urine and keep it in her bladder. I hope everything works out for your pet Bailey. Best wishes.
