I have a dog puppy of 9 months lab , still does not come the heat, but I want a way that I will not get pregnant , until I return to travel. Only 4 months, after that I would not administer any medicine, it is just for precaution, because he is living with other dogs and im not with she. The only way to make sure Selva does not get pregnant is to spay her. Their are no medications or injections to give to dogs like human birth control. I would highly recommend keeping her away from all male intact dogs and getting her spayed to avoid an accidental pregnancy.
