My 4-week-old puppy threw up and is shaking. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 1 day old | 9 lbs

My dog had a litter of puppies and they are now 4 weeks old one of them threw up at 5 am this morning after words he was a bit shaken and slept longer than normal. He is back to himself by playing and being active but he does still shake a little when he goes to sleep. I was wonder what this could be and how I could help him?

I'm sorry little Maximus isn't doing well! It could be that he overfed leading him to vomit, and I would keep an eye on him for now. If he starts vomiting again, starts eating less, and/or become very lethargic, I would take him into a vet immediately. Make sure he stays warm, well hydrated, and eats.

    He he continues to vomit and/or seems lethargic when awake then I would be concerned and he should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. He could have an infection or parasite and your vet can run some lab-work to help diagnose. If he seems normal while awake and he doesn't vomit again then he may have just had an upset stomach from something he ate.
