Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 24 days old
My pug, 2 months old, slipped from my hands and broke his left lower limb. I took 3 different vet consultations all in vain. His plasters slip off and its very hard to put up something that keeps his leg straight. We confined him to a little cage to not let him run. He is keeping his foot on the ground now after 7 days from the injury and we aren't tying up any bandages buy are giving him supplements. Will he be able to walk again without any deformity?

That really depends on how the fracture heals. If the splint/bandage falls off then you could take him to an orthopedic surgeon who could pin or plate the fracture internally so he wouldnt need an external splint/bandage.

Ouch, poor Scooter! It looks like a painful break, and unfortunately only time will tell if his leg will heal properly or not. Keeping him confined to a cage is a good idea to make him rest fully, and I would only take him out to go to the bathroom and then bring him right back inside to the cage. If you can't keep the leg immobilized, then it may not grow back correctly but again only time will tell. I'm not sure what supplements you are giving him, but please be very careful when doing that; in fact, I wouldn't recommend it unless your vet told you to give them to Scooter. Too many supplements in a growing puppy will cause health problems such as developmental abnormalities from too much calcium. That's why it's never recommended to give a puppy vitamins. If your vet hasn't told you to give these supplements, I would check with them that it's ok for Scooter to receive them.
