How long is 'long term' use of steroids? Am looking at this as my 3 yr old border collie has been on prednisone since he was 6 months old for SRMA

I would define "long-term" steroid use as anything longer than 6 months. Some dogs need to be on prednisone or other steroids for many years (or even their whole lives) to control autoimmune diseases such as SRMA.
