Hi my hamsters cheeks have been full all day with food and I am starting to get concerned, I know it's normal for hamsters to store food in their cheeks but is it normal for her not to empty them for this long? Thank you

Hello, Sometimes hamsters will store their food in the cheek pouches for a day or so. Usually it is much less time. If it is dry food, I am not concerned, but if it was fresh veggies or treats, these can become stuck in the pouch. If she still has full pouches tomorrow, you can gently apply pressure behind the pouch to encourage her to empty into her mouth and out.
