Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 24 days old | 30 lbs
I think my dog got a gold of a small peice of a chlorine pill for a swimming pool. He has loss of appetite and has some diarrhea. Light vomiting ( a little bubbly not much) still somewhat playful not like was and lays around more. What can i do at home to help him back to self

There is nothing you can do for Max at home, and I would take him into a vet immediately. The problem with chlorine is that it is filtered out through the kidneys, and it can cause serious damage to them as well as ulceration of the stomach. Max needs medication to coat and protect his stomach, as well as IV fluids to flush the chlorine out of his body. This is quite serious, and he should see a vet now. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website.
