My 1-year-old Golden has hard bumps on his snout. What's wrong?

My 1 yo male golden retriever has 4 bumps on his snout under his hair, his vet says never seen this before, appeared about 10 days ago, they are hard and don't roll around, they are about 1/4"-1/2" round bumps. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered | 1 year old | 79 lbs
