Hi! I left my female dog alone in a room with a male dog for maybe a minute while I ran out to my car to grab something. Neither are fixed and my female dog is in her first heat cycle. Is it possible for them to have mated in such a short time? They were alone for a minute at the most. Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Female | unspayed | 60 lbs

It is very unlikely they mated in that time frame if the male was not still tied (mounting) the female when you came back in the house. If you do not want them breeding then I would definitely have them spayed/neutered though because it is bound to happen soon. Good luck with your pups! Love the name Olive!
