Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | spayed | 3 years and 5 months old | 11 lbs
My cat is very frequently throwing up, she tries to eat then throws it up, first food then clear or greenish liquid, is she just trying to get out a hair ball or is it something more serious

It's probably something more serious. chronic vomiting can be caused by various conditions (foreign body, pancreatitis, lymphoma, IBD and more...), you will need to take her to the vet in order to get checked and have a blood test done as a first step to try and find out what is causing this.

Freckles is suffering from a chronic condition that is causing the vomiting, there are a lot of conditions that can cause that though, such as kidney failure, pancreatitis, foreign body, chronic infection, intestinal worms, liver disease and cancer. i would strongly recommend that you take her to your vet ASAP, she will need a blood test done to start with, this can reveal many of these conditions.
