Can both my dogs eat the same prescription urinary care food?

Our 9-year old, 4 lb toy poodle has been on your Urinary Care food for a while following surgery for stones. We have a 16 month toy poodle who is on a different food. We'd like to get them both on the same food. We know that puppies need more protein. Can we switch her to the UC diet? Pet's info: Dog | Poodle | Female | spayed | 1 year and 3 months old | 5.5 lbs

The urinary care food is a prescription diet to maintain PH at a level to prevent certain stones forming. If you give it to a dog who doesn't need it, it can actually cause the PH to change too much causing another type of stone to develop. Therefore I do not recommend feeding it to your other dog.
