Why is my rabbit's mouth damp? Is she drooling or is it dental?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 4 lbs

The sides of her mouth are a little damp. I don't know if she's drooling or drinking water in a funky way. She seems fine though and is eating normally

If this is a new symptom and she doesn't normally do this then I would be concerned about a dental problem. They can have problems with their teeth and can even have trouble eating. Monitor her closely to ensure she is able to eat and drink. If so, then contact your vet Monday for an dental exam to ensure all of her teeth look okay.
