Why does my Chihuahua have a red, moldy rash with black dots?

My 3 year old Chihuahua has developed a red rash with black dots in the creases of her back legs. She looks likes she's moldy. It is spreading. I bath her often. The blackwashes off but comes right back. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 2 years and 4 months old | 5 lbs

It is possible she has an overgrowth of bacteria or yeast or both on her skin. She may need special medicated shampoo such as Ketochlor or Malaseb or in some cases oral medication. I would bring her in to the vet to look at the area and they can test to see if bacteria or yeast or present and prescribe appropriate treatment.
