Yorkie dropped by owl: Will my dog recover from a serious concussion?

Hi! I've taken him to the vet, but would like your opinion. My 5 pound yorkie got grabbed by an owl, and dropped. He has some puncture wounds on his head, and refused to walked or stand up. He's breathing independently and pupils are very responsive. he drank and had a pee, but will not stand up. The emergency vet put him on a drip and on recovery for observation. He said he had a serious concussion. Do you think he'll be ok? Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 6 years and 5 months old | 5 lbs

I believe he should be fine as long as he does not suffer from internal injuries, some of these symptoms might also be related to shock and pain, the next 48 hours will be crucial but i believe he should make full recovery.
