Hello, I have a 5 year old cat that has black spots and irritation under his chin. We previopusly took him to the doctor a few months ago and he prescribed us dermalone ointment. Is it safe to treat the same problem. Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 5 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

Hello, it's likely that Max has chin acne, Dermalone ointment should work to treat this. It's also recommended to use antibacterial cleansing pads on the skin (made for veterinary use). You will need to use the pads and ointment at least once daily for 7-14 days to see an improvement.
