Suddenly this morning my puppy had diarrhea. Not sure what caused it. Can I wait until tomorrow to see if it subsides or call her vet tonight

Puppies are susceptible to diarrhea from a variety of causes. A sudden diet change, bacterial overgrowth, or parasites can cause this. As long as she is still eating and drinking like normal and is not vomiting or lethargic, you are probably fine to wait until tomorrow. However if it persists or worsens tomorrow it would be best to bring her in for a fecal test and treatment.

Poor sugar. Diarrhea can be a common problem in puppies. It can be caused by a parasite, an infection, dietary indiscretion, all the way to parvo, or even foreign bodies stuck that they ate. If she is eating and acting fine, you can monitor tonight. If she is very lethargic, vomiting, or fever, I'd recommend getting her seen this evening. Bring a fecal sample with you and vaccination history to your veterinarian or ER. Use good hygiene for yourself until the fecal results are back, as some common pet parasites can affect humans. Hopefully she just has a minor parasite or just from something she ate. Good luck.
