Pet's info: Dog | Bulldog | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old | 60 lbs
We own an English Bulldog. He was outside in the 85 degree heat, and when we brought him in, he wasn't doing so well. He was puking, not moving without assistance, not eating or drinking. Is this from the heat or is there something else wrong with him?

It could be from the heat but i can't know for sure, if he is very lethargic you must take him to the vet right away, if he suffers from heat stroke it can be fatal within several hours if left untreated.

If your dog was panting then it is quite possible this is from the heat. The GI tract unfortunately is affected by heat stroke and dogs can have vomiting and diarrhea, eventually sloughing the GI tract. This is an emergency situation. Your dog needs to get to the vet right away for treatment. If you are at home, you can cool him with a cool water (not ice cold) bath and a fan on him until you are able to get him into the car but he should go right away to the vet's office and let them know you are on your way so they can be prepared for a possible heat stroke.
