My dog has gas, belching, bad breath after stomach surgery. Help?

My gsd twisted its stomach and had an operation and survived. However despite feeding veterinary diet of hills digestive care I.d she belches and passes wind frequently and has a nasty taste in her mouth. Fed five times daily. Taking Omeprazol taken daily and mucogel fluid three times daily . what else can I give or do for my dog to eleviate the reflux and belching ? As she spins in her cage in the car due to excitement I am afraid to take her in the car due to risk ! Any suggestions ? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Female | spayed | 80 lbs

I'm sorry Ranger had a GDV but am glad she survived. You can try feeding her smaller more frequent meals. She may also require something for the gas. I would call your veterinarian to see if they can dispense something for her without seeing her.
