My dog's dew claw or toenail is red and swollen. Is it infected?

Hello and thank you so much! I'm attaching a couple of photos to see if you think my dog's toe/toenail is infected or not. I believe he's injured his dew claws, though I'm not certain. Any advice would be appreciated so much! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 7 months old | 80 lbs

The redness and swelling seen in this photo would make me suspicious we could have an infection going on here. I would recommend a visit to your vet for confirmation and to get the appropriate prescription to treat infection if they determine that it is present.
