My dog has a spot on paw and is limping. Is it a cut or skin issue?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shorthaired Pointer (duplicate) | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 24 days old | 33 lbs

My dog has this spot on her foot and I just noticed it when i walked her outside to use the bathroom today , it looks like she may have cut her paw, but I'm worried it's a skin condition. I'm not sure what it is. She doesn't like walking on it.

Zelda is very cute! It looks like she may have sheared off the top layer of skin on her paw pad. I would try to keep it as clean and dry as possible. You can apply a thin layer of Neosporin as well, but she may need to see a veterinarian as sometimes these wounds can be stubborn to heal.
