Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered

My rabbit has randomly just started limping, and not eating, and pooing lots (which is unusual for him as in the 7 months I've had him he always poos in his cage and no where else. He is refusing to have treats. He will let me touch his foot however will not walk on it at all, I don't know what to do, I don't want to go to a vets, pay £100 for them to tell me to let him rest his foot. What can I do?

Limping in rabbits are not very common unless they suffered a severe trauma that either caused a fracture or a joint displacement, Sebs will need to have an X-ray done at the vets in order to evaluate the condition, if i had to guess it is probably a serious injury that will require surgery.
