My dog ate wood and is vomiting. Is it a foreign body blockage?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | 2 months and 7 days old | 9 lbs

As i already said my problem with bones...Three veterinarians already replied that it might be caused due to a foreign material..I checked what he vomited..I found some long wooden pieces..I doubt if it causes vomiting.

We don't have access to your previous conversation unfortunately because the message board does not group messages that way. If you wish to have a continuous conversation with an expert here then I would suggest a private consultation. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the free questions appear once they are submitted. However, it sounds like your pet may have a foreign body causing his excessive vomiting. You won't see the material in his vomit if it is still stuck inside him. If that is the case, then a vet visit is definitely needed and a possible x-ray of Bones abdomen to determine if there is a blockage. I hope that your pet is able to make a full and speedy recovery. If you wish to resubmit another question, then please feel free to do so at this time.
