My cat was shaved and now has crusty patches. Is it infected?

Hi my cat recently got shaved on his neck to have a blood test now he has some brown crusty patches there is this infected

It is difficult to say if Tupac has a skin infection based on the picture. Some animals will get irritated skin from being shaved with clippers and will scratch and rub at the area and cause a secondary infection. If you are seeing crusts in the area, I would recommend trying to clean it with a mild soap. If it is not improving or definitely if it is getting worse, I would take him in to your vet to have his skin evaluated. He may need topical or oral medication to improve his skin.
