My kitten sucks and plays rough. Is this normal? Should I get a buddy?

Squirt sucks on his penis sometimes. He pees well & drinks water. I wanted to know if that is just a habit or if its something that i should be concerned about. He also like bites a part of my hand & will suck on it. I wanted to know if that is normal. He is the only kitten in the house & i also wanted to know if i should get him a buddy so he can learn how to socialize since he tend to be a little rough when playing. He was given to me at the age of 5wks. His mom abandoned him. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 1 month and 8 days old | 5 lbs

Both dogs and cats are known to use their mouth on their own genitals. Generally speaking, this isn't considered pathologic. Unless you are seeing it happening all day, which could be an indicate of some type of pain or infection, I wouldn't be terribly concerned about it. As for your hand, as long as the behavior isn't bothersome to you (assuming it isn't painful), then I also wouldn't let that keep me at night either. As you said, Squirt is still just a baby. I find that cats do generally do better in at least pairs, as they can socialize better and will do better during times when they are left alone. Hope this helps.
