My dog has diarrhea and vomiting. When should I take them to the vet?

I have a 2 year old Beagle Mix and a 5 month old Beagle. Both have Diarrhea and the Older one vomited today as well. Its started in both yesterday. They are both still very playful and I took them both for a walk this morning. The only thing I can think that may have caused this is a change in Treats as well as drinking water from a brook at the park a few days ago.Should we consult a Vet?

Hi there, it sounds like they both have a touch of gastroenteritis which could have been picked up from the water or because of the new tests upsetting their tummies. I would starve them 24 hours then feed plain chicken and rice for a day. If they are getting worse go to the vet. Try and avoid letting them drink water outside from now on.
