My dog has an itchy belly bump. Can I use Benadryl or tea tree oil?

Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Pinscher | Female | spayed | 10 years and 9 months old | 21 lbs

Min pin has hard itchy bump on belly. She is rubbing hard right on carpet and irritating nipples. Can I relieve itch with benedryl or tea tree oil?

Tea tree oil is not recommended unless it is therapeutic grade and greatly diluted. Otherwise, it can be toxic. Benedryl should only be given on the advice of your veterinarian. Use a child's tee shirt or baby onesie on Amber to prevent irritation. An e-collar (cone) may be necessary if she is licking or chewing the area.
