I am wondering what these spots on my 8 month old dog are? I have noticed that it is now in his sides. I am a first time dog owner and I just want to make sure my baby is on. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 8 months and 19 days old | 30 lbs

Those spots on Chasr could be his normal pigmentation (like freckles) or potentially a skin infection. It is difficult to tell from the picture. If he is developing more spots or they are getting larger and weren't there previously, I would get him checked out by your vet. Yeast infections in dogs can cause brown/black pigmentation and sometimes require topical medication, medicated shampoo, or even oral medication.
