While taking Spock out it was obvious someone had spilled a beer all over the concrete and there was no way around it so we ran through it to an from outside. I didn't want to do this but he had to potty and there was no other way! When we came back inside I wiped his paws with a wet cloth but I'm slightly concerned. If there's any still on his paws, could it be absorbed and harm him at all?

A little bit of beer on his paws shouldn't cause a problem especially as you cleaned them. But you're right to be concerned as alcohol poisoning can occur in pets. But as big as he is a slight exposure shouldn't be an issue.

This is a good question! I don't feel that you have much cause for concern, especially considering you wiped his paws off-this was a smart thing to do. The chances of absorption through the skin are minimal, oral ingestion would more be the concern and I highly doubt that a dog or Spock's size would be able to lick enough beer off his paws to cause a problem!
