My dog's jaw, teeth, and tongue are chattering like panting. Why?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 85 lbs

I have a 3 or 4 year old pitt lab mix, every now and then her teeth and jaw will start vibrating and chattering and now lately she started doing it with her tongue. like in a panting motion except shes not panting.

Duchess' chattering could be a result of either oral pain or a focal seizure (more subtle repetitive neurologic behavior). At this point, the best thing you can do is take her to the vet to determine if she has signs of dental issues, or any neurologic deficits. Until you can take her to the vet, keep a log of when this chattering behavior occurs including the time, duration, any preceding events (meals, exercise, stress, etc.), and take a video of this chattering to show to your vet.
