Is Trazadone 50mg too much for my 23.5 lb dog? I picked up today to have on hand as needed for storm anxiety. Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Female | spayed | 8 years and 10 months old | 23.5 lbs

50 mg is a very typical, commonly-prescribed dose of trazodone for a dog of this size. I actually have a 20 lb dog who takes trazodone for separation anxiety, and this is the same dose that he takes :) As long as your vet has prescribed this dose of trazodone for Snickers, it should be just fine to give it to her as needed for storms.
