I have finally healed it to the point it is not open wounds her hair is growing back . yesterday i noticed on her front shoulder was a torn chunk of skin flap that was crusty and very hard and it oozed pus and a little blood. Poor Daisy Dukes! I recommend taking her in to your vet to have that laceration on her shoulder checked out as soon as possible. She likely needs to have that area clipped and cleaned/flushed out and to make sure there is no foreign material under the skin. Some dogs will allow this to be done easily and some require sedation because it can be painful. She may need to have sutures placed if there is a flap of skin torn. Even though she doesn't seem painful right now, she likely has quite a bit of inflammation that needs to be addressed and antibiotics for the infection. She may have underlying allergies that also need to be addressed given her previous history of being itchy and having irritation around her tail and rear end.
