How can I help my new kitten bond better with my 6-year-old child?

We have recently gotten a five month old kitten for my six year old great granddaughter. He is close to me and my husband but we want him for my great granddaughter. How can we get him to be more attached to her?

Having your granddaughter interact with Midnight is a great way to get them to bond. She's old enough that she can help with feeding him daily (under your supervision) as well as playing with toys together, or even feeding him treats. Over time, Midnight should start to bond with your granddaughter as well.
