Why is my small dog suddenly mopey, lethargic, and can't jump?

My dachund/chiwawa mixed dog has just for 4 days now can't jump on furniture or bed and is acting mopey she is not acting herself kinds lathahgic any ideas I'm heart broke. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 20 years and 4 months old | 22 lbs

It sounds as she might be suffering from a back problem, probably a slipped disk in her spine which is common for the breed. you will need to take her to the vet, she will need pain killers for a couple weeks and will need to be in cage rest as well for this time.
