Where can I get my dog's eyes checked affordably without insurance?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

So where should I go to check my pet's eyes since PetCo doesn't care about the problem and just does vaccines. I don't have any insurance for the dog, so where should I go? I live in Manchester, NH, and is it free to check the dog's eyes. Sorry for this, first time owning a dog.

Don't apologize, this is what we are here for :-) Unfortunately it is not free to check a dog's eyes, this will be included in the cost of an exam fee. I can give you a link to a website that tells you if there are any low cost clinics in your area. You can also see if your vet accepts payment plans or you can apply for Care Credit online. An exam fee will typically run you about $45-55, but medications will be an added cost if needed. I hope this helps! http://www.humanesociety.org/animals/resources/tips/trouble_affording_pet.html?credit=web_id91754962 https://www.carecredit.com
