My dog was sick, now eating. Should I still worry about dog flu?

I'm pretty sure my dog has the flu because I just got done with it. He was sick 2 days ago but seems way better today like he's finally eating and drinking. Should I still be worried. When he was sick all he did was throw up but no diarrhea. He did drink but when he eat he just threw it up. Today he is keeping his food down and drinking. Pet's info: Dog | Maltese | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 4 months old | 13 lbs

It is unlikely that he caught the flu from you. It's more likely he had a touch of gastroenteritis. If he is eating and drinking and not vomiting he should be over the worst of it. If it starts again take him to the vet in case something else is going on.
