You should get her to a vet asap her age and history of no shots could attribute the the blood to parvovirus. Hopefully it is a minor gastroenteritis but the chance of parvovirus is very real. Parvovirus needs to be diagnosed quickly and tratment instigated rapidly.

Bloody stool can be caused by intestinal parasites as well as bacterial or viral infection. If she isn't eating or drinking on her own, she can quickly become dehydrated which will complicate the underlying condition. Have Peluche examined by a veterinarian today. A stool sample may diagnose intestinal parasites or bacterial overgrowth and a SNAP test may diagnose parvovirus. She will likely need supportive care (IV fluids, anti diarrheals, parenteral nutrition, etc) until a diagnosis is reached and she is eating/drinking on her own.

This sounds very serious. Although there are several things that can cause the symptoms you are describing, my main concern in an unvaccinated young dog like Peluche is for parvo. I recommend that you take her to the veterinarian right away for diagnosis and treatment. Best wishes.

Vomiting, diarrhea or bloody stools can be a sign of parvovirus. If you suspect this is the case please get him to a veterinarian ASAP as the sooner treatment starts the better chance for recovery. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Coco! He is adorable! I would take the puppy back tot he Vet and have a stool sample checked for worms and have him checked for parvo virus. Then I would ask that they hospitalize Coco for IV fluids and IV medications until he is eating and able to take pills at home. He is very young and he will just get sicker if he can't hold food down and receive his medications. I hope this helps and I wish Coco a speedy recovery!

I'm sorry to hear Lucy isn't feeling well. In a puppy her age I would worry about parvovirus. It is an extremely contagious virus that attacks the lining of the intestinal tract and can be fatal if not treated. The signs are vomiting and diarrhea. I recommend getting her to a vet right away to test for that and to check for intestinal parasites. She may need to stay in the hospital for IV fluids to treat her dehydration and receive IV antibiotics and electrolytes. Good luck and kisses to Lucy!
