How to help my cat settle, eat, and stop panting in a new place?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

hello, I have a 3year old cat .I will be living him at my cushion's during holiday . but I have taken him over 2 times . during the day is fine but don't eat . during the night he pants and cant keep still . by the looks of it he is scared of the lights and notices from the main road. is there anything I can do to help him settle in ? I have the plug in already I look flowered to your reply

You may want to try bringing some things from home that are familiar to make him more comfortable like a bed or a crate. If he seems more anxious at night you may want to confine him to a dark quiet room. I think pheromone diffusers can be very helpful. I am a little concerned about the panting at night: although some cats will pant when they are extremely anxious it is more often a sign of respiratory distress. If you feel Zorro is having trouble breathing you should see a veterinarian right away.
