My cat isn't affectionate and only wants food. Is this normal?

My cat is not petted cat. Help me.? It makes me mad because i have two cats, wilkie the cat is cuddling to me when he sees me when i come home from my work, Orieo never cuddling me except he wants hus food already.... After feeding him, he dont like to pet him again. Should i adopt him.. He only wants his food, not his owner. Wilkie has an appreciation to me and to his food.. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 2 months old | 9 lbs

Cats can be very independent. Some cats just don't care much for human company, there is very little you can do to change this. I think it would be unfair to give him up for adoption because of this, it's just his nature.
