My dog won't take heartworm meds. Are there non-chewable alternatives?

Is there a non chewable type of heart guard I can give my dog who refuses to eat it?

This is a good question! Many dogs refuse to take 'chewable' medications. You can try mashing it up with a little canned food (I have a dog that I have to do this for sometimes). You can also talk to your vet about a different type of heartworm preventative. There are a number of chewable forms which may be more palatable to your dog, there is also an injection form that some vets use.
