My dog vomits after eating, still hungry and active. What to do?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | 3 years and 6 months old

Diego still asking for food and really scratching his bowl to give him food after vomiting his food immediately after eating. No diarrhea. Very active. What will i do?

If this has occurred more than once or twice Diego should see a veterinarian. If he is still hungry but unable to keep food down he may have an esophageal disorder or GI blockage. You can try fasting him for 4-6 hours after the last time he threw up and offer just a very small amount of food. If he keeps that down, wait a couple of hours then offer a little more. But if the food is still coming back up he should see a vet to determine the cause.
