I have a 5 yr old staff bitch, de-sexed who became unwell 3 days ago. She was in her yard and began crying. When checked her stomach was quite hard and she was listless and appeared weak when walking. She drank lots of water and vomited twice. She was quite cold so I warmed her up and have kept her inside since then. She is eating normal (i am giving her milk, weetbix, pasta, eggs and some meat) - she is urinating normally but is sleeping a lot and still appears weak when walking. Nose is dry

I am sorry to hear Violet is not doing well. I would recommend you take Violet to your vet for a checkup at this point. She has some concerning symptoms and would benefit from a thorough physical exam. Your vet may also recommend X-rays and bloodwork depending on what they find. She may have a gastrointestinal problem, an infection, even liver or kidney disease could cause the symptoms you have noticed.
